Our client is a team of creative space makers who design extraordinary, high-quality interventions in the public realm for anyone who wants to make a big visual statement. This could be anywhere from a public square or park, to an airport, mall or shop. They produce visionary concepts, structures and places designed to amaze, entertain and add value.
They work on projects in the UK and Internationally and clients range from public bodies to private sector developers, operators and land owners. They also regularly collaborate with renowned architects and landscape architects on large scale development and airport projects.
The role will be working in a small, close-knit team, developing free-standing structures and interventions within the public realm. There will also be opportunities to work on architectural and interior schemes, which is an expanding area of their business.
They are looking for architects who can work independently and who are capable of creative and original thought.
Candidates will need the following skills and experience:
- A high level of experience using Sketch-Up/Layout
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite
- CAD and 3D modelling (ie Rhino) experience is also desired
- Visualisation experience is desired but training can be given if necessary
- An Urban Design background would be helpful, but by no means essential
