Our client is a design and build contractor currently working on the renovation and new build of a particularly large house in Hertfordshire. They are seeking 2 new members of staff to expand their onsite team, one of which is an Architect/Architectural Technician, and another whose backgrounds could be in Project Management, Project Administration, or Interior Design for example. The 2nd vacancy is a supportive role to the Designers and candidates must have great negotiation skills, experience carrying out research and procurement, administration, be comfortable dealing with difficult clients and have contacts in the high-end residential sector. Our client is looking for someone who can take a challenge from start to finish and can handle a wide range of tasks. Strong drawing skills and an interest in designing would be advantageous.
Candidates must enjoy the challenges of working on site and have a car as the site is a long way from public transport. The project is also of historic significance so an interest in conservation would be a strong advantage. You will ideally have strong AutoCAD but for the Project Administrator role, this isn't necessary.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to see a large project developing and looking to stay somewhere long term.
