Our client is a large and established architectural practice specialising in private houses and the restoration of historic buildings, but also covering commercial and public buildings, masterplans and major housing developments. They are now looking for an experienced and talented Technical Architect / Architectural Technologist to join their Winchester office, to work on bespoke private residential projects.
This candidate must have 3+ years qualified professional experience and will bring with them solid experience of technical residential detailing, and preferably will have some experience working on high-quality bespoke projects. You will be able to deliver projects at various work stages and therefore must have experience in RIBA Stages 2 – 6 and a thorough knowledge of construction details and regulations. Candidates must be capable of operating alone and unsupervised as well as within complex, multi-agency teams. Experience of operating ArchiCAD is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. No prior experience of traditional or classical architecture is necessary provided the individual has a passion for this sort of work.
