Design Director - Singapore

Our client is one of the leading studios in the Far East and currently seeking a Design Director to join their Singapore studio.

Candidates will need the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in high-end hospitality interior design projects;
• Strong conceptual design through to delivery skills;
• Excellent leadership skills in mentoring and managing a team running different projects;
• Strong presentation skills
• Experience with both local and international projects;

The role will involve:

• High level of concept and detailed design along with project leadership across all live and future hospitality projects
• Implementing project standards 
• Overseeing and critiquing design work for all projects
• Ensuring team members adhere to timeline and successful completion of project deliverables
• Monitoring project documents to ensure it is current, complete and stored appropriately
• Attending internal meetings and head client and consultant meetings/discussions
• Managing a team of in-house designers and monitoring projects to ensure they are moving forward on schedule and within budget
• Creating interior design standards and policies for office-wide consistencies
