Finance Manager - London

Our client is a leading AJ100 studio who are actively seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join their busy London team. This is a newly created role to support with the future growth of the business. Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership for implementing new processes and developing reporting tools across their global business

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing monthly reports and forecasts for P&L accounts, balance sheets, cash flow and budgets across multiple cost centres 
  • Preparing reports required by the shareholders and any other ad hoc reports as required
  • Running monthly consolidations & issuing intercompany statements
  • Project sector analysis, completion costs update, and stage completion analysis
  • Project revenue, cost, and profit reporting
  • Leading the preparation for the annual audit of the financial statements including preparing year end lead schedules, providing audit support and liaising with Auditors
  • Leading with the preparation for the annual budget and recurrent forecasting
  • Monitoring the Fixed Asset Register, Accruals, Prepayments, and other schedules
  • Providing financial analysis and advice on strategic planning
  • Line management of internal accounts manager

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Practice Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 2+ years post qualified experience gained in industry
  • Experience working within the professional services sector during time in industry
  • Experience in preparing statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP is essential
  • Experience in managing multiple cost centres is essential
  • Previous experience implementing new processes or internal controls is desirable
  • International entity experience is desirable (particularly Australia and Canada)
  • Xero experience is desirable
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills
  • Experience of project accounting is desirable
