This leading AJ100 architectural practice in south London is currently seeking a Legal Secretary/Administrator.
Summary of main responsibilities:
- Work with the Directors and Head of Professional Appointments to manage legal administrative duties
- Issue legal documentation to the Directors for signature
- Issue weekly appointment reports to the Directors
- Assist with legal negotiations and liaise with relevant parties to agree key clauses
- Liaise with solicitors and professional indemnity insurers to review all legal documentation
- Manage electronic and hardcopy project files and contract documentation
- Maintain appointment and PI notification schedules monitoring portal for new guidance
- Maintain warranties, fee proposals, fee agreements and deeds of appointments
- Maintain and issue collateral warranty schedule and PI notification report for the quarterly MRM meetings
- Agree collateral warranties and novation documentation with signed appointment
- Assist with the renewal of the professional indemnity insurance
- Assist with CPD presentations to the office
- Assist with formatting of company templates and guidance including technical guidance
- General typing, proofreading and formatting of all legal letters and contract documentation
- General administration duties including daily attendance, answering the telephone, coordinating project post and couriers, archiving and internal and external printing
- Work with the Quality Manager to ensure ISO 9001 procedures are complied with
