Our client is a small architectural and interior design practice based in Camden that work on design-orientated residential, cultural and workplace schemes. They are currently seeking a mid-weight Interior Designer with the following experience:
-experience working on a couple of these sectors: high-end residential, hospitality, hotel and office Cat-B fit-out
-ability to create and develop design concepts for client presentation as well as working closely with the managing and creative directors
-experience in overseeing FF&E specifications of all soft and hard materials/finishes and project schedules
-creation and management of FF&E budgets
-up-to-date knowledge of furniture, lighting suppliers and their products on varied budgets
-ability to present to clients effectively
-ability to read and understand technical drawings
-knowledge of local and online showrooms and resources, industry trends
-experience in bespoke furniture design and production
-proficient in Adobe Creative Suite essential, 3D knowledge beneficial eg, sketch up, rhino
-MicroStation skills, but any 2D CAD package is fine if you’re happy to cross train
-site experience is a welcome bonus
-working to stage 3 would be beneficial
This practice offers flexible working hours and you will be able to work from home occasionally, however, for this position, office-based working is preferred.
