Our client is a small practice based near Guildford established by award-winning Architects. The majority of the work you will be involved with will be smaller-scale high end residential as well as some hotel design and interiors, increasingly within a contemporary style. This practice strives to create well-crafted, beautifully detailed, inspiring buildings and is looking for an Architect that shares this vision and can rapidly take a serious role within the company. Due to the location, having a car is highly recommended.
Candidates should:
- Excel at technical and conceptual design, with a passionate interest in architecture, its history, its technology and its future trends
- Have a good standard of presentation, written and oral communication skills, fluent English
- Be proficient in ArchiCAD, however, training will be provided if necessary
- Have hand drawing and sketching skills
- Have experience in highly contemporary and / or well-considered traditional projects
- Have excellent interior and exterior technical detailing skills, demonstrated by example
- Be able to work independently and efficiently, with clients, consultants and contractors
- Have experience in UK based construction methods
