Sustainability Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a sustainability specialist to join a leading AJ100 studio and help develop their approach to sustainability so it becomes the core of all their projects. The practice covers a wide number of sectors from housing and masterplanning to infrastructure and transport. 

Candidates will need the following skills and experience:

• A number of years experience specifically within the sustainability sector and have a passion for the subject
• Have operated at a senior level and be capable of influencing the design process on some particularly large schemes
• Candidates who have strong sustainability experience on smaller schemes would also be considered but would need to be able to demonstrate how their knowledge could be transfer to a large environment.
• Masters Degree or equivalent specialism in sustainable design.
• 10-15 years professional experience
• Experience of a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with a design focus.
• Good knowledge of Low and Zero Carbon technologies and their application to the built environment
• Proficiency with sustainable design software including environmental modelling and life-cycle analysis.
• Ideally proficient in Revit, Dynamo, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Ladybug, Revit.
• Working knowledge of internationally recognised environmental design standards including International Green Construction Code.
