We’re partnering with a leading global design studio renowned for its world-class sports and entertainment venues. With several landmark projects underway, their London-based team is expanding and looking for an experienced Parametric Stadium Bowl Designer to join immediately.
The Role
This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the geometry and spectator experience of major sports venues. You’ll develop, optimise, and document stadium bowl geometries using advanced parametric and performance-driven modelling tools. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, and visualisation specialists, you’ll ensure every design is aesthetically dynamic, structurally efficient, and operationally seamless—meeting global standards for sports venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise parametric models for stadium bowl design and seating layouts.
- Analyze sightlines, audience experience, and capacity optimisation.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design intent and technical feasibility.
- Produce high-quality design documentation and visualisations.
- Maintain compliance with international sports federation standards (FIFA, UEFA, IOC, etc.).
- Evolve and manage internal parametric tools and workflows.
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Computational Design, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience in sports architecture or computational design.
- Advanced expertise in Rhino + Grasshopper (required).
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and scripting (Python, C#, or Dynamo).
- Strong understanding of stadium design principles, sightline geometry, and spectator experience.
- Experience with bowl automation tools, crowd modelling, or data visualization is a plus.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
