As we enter the final quarter of 2026, it’s a good time to reflect on another eventful year for the architectural job market.
We’ve seen job losses at some larger practices, particularly those exposed to international projects. At the same time, demand has remained strong for people with UK Building Regulations and Stage 4 experience, as well as those working in high-end hospitality and interiors.
This mixed picture raises questions about how salaries have been affected and, to help us build an accurate picture of what’s happening across the profession, we have just launched our annual Salary Survey. It’s completely confidential and only takes a minute to complete.
