Paul Chappell

Director

Paul is a specialist architectural recruitment consultant with over 25 years’ industry experience and the founder of 9B Careers. He holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Nottingham.

After a brief period working in the early internet industry and completing a ski season, Paul began his recruitment career in 2000 with RIBA Appointments. Over the next 15 years, he built extensive knowledge of the architectural sector and long-standing relationships across the profession.

Paul founded 9B Careers in 2016. Originally focused on architectural appointments, the business has since expanded to include project management, interior design roles and architectural administration positions. He has been privileged to recruit for an outstanding range of clients, from Stirling Prize–winning practices to luxury developers and international design studios.
