An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Senior Architect / Project Lead to join a design-led architectural studio working on a landmark private residential scheme in W11.
The practice is currently preparing a planning application for a multi-million pound, single-family townhouse renovation, including:
- A new basement and swimming pool
- Extensive structural and technical coordination
- Collaboration with acclaimed interior designers
The successful candidate will take over day-to-day leadership of the scheme, working closely with the studio’s Director.
The Role
- Rapid takeover of a complex, high-value private residential project
- Lead planning coordination and detailed design development
- Manage technical detailing and consultant interfaces
- Work collaboratively within a design-sensitive, detail-driven environment
- Support future team growth, including mentoring more junior staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience delivering high-end, single-family residential projects in London
- Proven expertise in basements and technically complex refurbishments
- Confident leading projects at planning and technical stages
- Calm under pressure and able to get up to speed quickly
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
A short handover period will be provided, and there is scope to build a small supporting team beneath this role shortly after appointment.
Salary
Circa £50,000–£60,000, dependent on experience.
