9B Careers is working with an established 60-person architecture practice in central London to recruit an experienced Contract Architect for a six-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Architect to join a busy and collaborative practice, working on commercial projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
The Role
The successful Architect will work closely with the wider project team to develop and deliver detailed architectural information through technical design and construction.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed architectural information using Revit.
- Working across RIBA Stages 4 and 5, from technical design through to construction.
- Producing and reviewing detailed construction and technical drawing packages.
- Coordinating architectural information with consultants and the wider project team.
- Working closely with BIM Technicians and other members of the architectural team.
- Resolving technical and coordination issues throughout the delivery stages.
- Liaising with consultants and contractors to ensure information is coordinated and delivered to programme.
- Supporting the Project Architect with the day-to-day delivery of the project.
- Ensuring drawings and project information are produced to a high technical standard.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Architect with approximately 5–10 years' post-qualification experience and a strong technical delivery background.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong Revit skills.
- Proven experience working across RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
- A strong understanding of UK construction processes, detailing and technical standards.
- Experience delivering detailed architectural information and construction packages.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Previous experience within a UK architecture practice.
