An internationally recognised design practice is seeking a Junior / Assistant Interior Designer to join its talented London studio. This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring designer to gain hands-on experience working on exciting Sports & Entertainment projects alongside some of the industry's leading designers.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, creative and eager to develop their skills within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role
Supporting senior members of the design team, you will contribute to projects across all stages of the design process, assisting with concept development, presentations, technical documentation and visualisation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of interior design concepts and presentations.
- Produce drawings, layouts and 3D models under the guidance of senior designers.
- Support the preparation of technical design packages.
- Assist with space planning and project coordination.
- Contribute to rendering and visualisation workflows.
- Research materials, finishes and FF&E.
- Collaborate with the wider project team to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, together with Rhino, SketchUp/Enscape (or similar), AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience within the Sports & Entertainment sector is desirable but not essential.
Salary
£32,000–£35,000 depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
Start Date: Approximately one month's notice.
