9B Careers is working with a major international architectural and design practice looking for a talented Parametric Stadium Bowl Designer to join its specialist sports architecture team.
This is a highly specialised role focused on developing and optimising stadium bowl geometries, sightlines and seating configurations for major international sports venues.
The Role

Develop and optimise complex stadium bowl geometries

Analyse spectator sightlines, seating layouts and audience experience

Develop parametric models to test and refine stadium configurations

Work closely with architects, engineers and visualisation teams

Balance architectural design with structural and operational requirements

Apply international sports federation requirements to stadium designs

Develop accurate 3D models and design information

Contribute to the development of innovative computational design solutions
About You
-
Approximately 3+ years' professional experience
-
Background in architecture, computational design, engineering or stadium design
-
Experience of sports, stadium or arena projects would be highly advantageous
-
Strong understanding of stadium design, sightlines and seating geometry

Excellent computational and parametric design capabilities
-
Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper are essential

AutoCAD experience

Python, C#, Dynamo or other scripting experience advantageous

Understanding of the Green Guide and relevant stadium regulations

Familiarity with FIFA, UEFA, IOC or similar sporting standards

Excellent 3D modelling and problem-solving skills
