9B Careers is working with a major international architectural and design practice looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its London team.
This is a senior project leadership role for someone with a strong architectural background who can take responsibility for the commercial, contractual and operational management of complex projects.
Sports and entertainment experience is not required, making this a good opportunity for an experienced architectural Project Manager looking to move into larger-scale and high-profile projects.
The Role

Lead and manage complex architectural projects from inception through to completion

Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, fees, staffing and resources

Work closely with Project Architects and wider design teams to ensure successful project delivery

Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project

Lead client and consultant meetings and ensure clear communication across project teams

Coordinate consultants, contractors and other disciplines
-
Assist with project scope, fee proposals and contract negotiations

Manage consultant appointments and project change control

Monitor project financial performance and programme
-
Oversee construction administration during the construction phase

Identify and manage project risks

Support business development and identify opportunities with existing clients

Provide leadership, mentoring and support to project teams
About You

Degree in Architecture or equivalent relevant experience

Significant experience within an architectural or multidisciplinary design practice

Proven experience managing complex architectural projects

Strong understanding of project programmes, budgets, staffing and fees

Confident client-facing communicator with experience leading meetings

Commercially aware with experience of contracts, consultants and fee management

Strong understanding of construction, architectural systems and project delivery

Able to manage multiple priorities and complex multidisciplinary teams

Strong BIM knowledge with Revit proficiency

Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills

Experience with project management software such as Deltek, Primavera or MS Project would be advantageous
