Our client is an award-winning, Chelsea-based architectural practice specializing in high-end residential projects. This studio is growing organically and seeking a recent Part 3 to join their collaborative team that values both personal and professional development.
As a key member of their team, your responsibilities will include:
-Design & Planning - Assembling concept layouts, and preparing planning applications.
-Technical Expertise - Producing detailed construction and tender packages, including drawings, schedules, and specifications.
-Coordination & Collaboration - gain experience in liaising with consultants (M&E engineers, Structural Engineers, Interior Designers, etc.), contractors, and suppliers.
-Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring all drawings comply with the latest UK Building Regulations and Planning Laws.
-On-Site Involvement - follow the site progress in first person under the senior Architect and supporting contractors and sub-contractors during construction, resolving queries, and ensuring smooth project execution.
-Continuous Improvement - Helping refine their CAD standards and templates to enhance efficiency and quality.
Minimum Requirements:
-Legal Right to Work in the UK now, and in the future
-Technical Proficiency – Strong skills in AutoCAD, Adobe suite and the Microsoft Office suite are essential. Experience with 3D SketchUp
-Technical Knowledge – have experience in construction details and statutory requirements.
