Our client is currently working on the renovation and new build of a large stately home in Hertfordshire. They are seeking to expand their onsite team and looking for a very senior lead architect with a speciality in classical design. Candidates will need superb construction and detailing skills and enjoy the challenges of working on site. The project is also of historic significance so an interest in conservation would be a strong advantage. You will ideally have strong Revit and the use of a car as the site is a long way from public transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of architectural projects in the classical English vernacular.
- Resolve complex architectural and project management issues.
- Directly interact with and report to the property owners and directors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing high-end residential projects in classical styles.
- Previous positions at renowned conservation firms.
- Strong proficiency in architectural software and traditional drawing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must live within 45 minutes of Stevenage or Ware.
