Our client is a large, award-winning and multidisciplinary with an office in central London. They are seeking an Architect with many years of experience and able to lead on their Industrial and Logistics projects. Candidate should be able to demonstrate a very good knowledge of these sectors and have worked effectively across all RIBA work stages.
Successful candidates are required to have:
- ARB registration
- excellent leadership skills
- experience of acting as lead designer running major projects
- knowledge and understanding of UK town planning policy
- detailed understanding of the Building Regulations and British Standards
- experience of producing technical drawing packs and details for tender and construction
- experience of working through RIBA stages 0-6
- experience of writing and reviewing NBS specifications
- excellent presentation skills/ability to take stakeholders through complex topics with clarity
- the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
- excellent time management skills
- knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
The following skills/experience would be welcomed:
- strong design skills
- good Revit skills or an ability to learn new software quickly
