An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Architect or Design Manager to join a major UK sports project.
You will play a key role in coordinating design information between the lead architect, consultants and specialist subcontractors during the construction phase.
The Role
This position will suit an architect with strong technical and coordination skills who enjoys working at the interface between design and construction. Previous stadium experience is not essential; however, applicants should demonstrate solid experience delivering complex projects through technical design and construction stages.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating design package information between the lead architect and specialist subcontractors.
- Managing information flow and design coordination during Stage 4 and construction phases.
- Reviewing technical information and resolving design queries.
- Liaising with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Supporting project delivery and ensuring design information is aligned with programme requirements.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect, Design Manager or Technical Project Lead.
- Strong experience in Stage 4 delivery and construction-phase coordination.
- Experience working on site and managing technical design information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable
- Experience on large-scale commercial, infrastructure, sports, transport or public-sector projects.
