Our client is a large, internationally recognised design studio based in central London, currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to work on a variety of projects. You should be able to hit the ground running, with solid experience and a desire to get stuck in with your new team(s) straight away. Key points around the job description:
- You will be working under the direction of Project Manager(s)
- Be the contact for transfer of files, documents, drawings etc. between the company and external consultants and clients; manages distribution of the information to the team
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings
- May attend client meetings to take minutes and prepare for distribution
- Experience of client liaison and following specific project protocols
- May perform reception cover duties
Skills and experience:
- Prior experience of Document Control, ideally on Architectural projects
- Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, Aconex and Trimble (other construction management software experience is also desirable)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to manage evolving priorities and multiple project needs
- Efficient at time management and meeting tight deadlines
- Organised and detail-focused – ensure documentation is numbered and titled correctly in accordance with project specific requirements
- Some flexibility is required to meet deadlines
Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000
