9B Careers is working with a small, design-led architectural practice of around seven people in NW3, specialising in high-end residential architecture and interiors.
The interiors side of the business has grown significantly as clients increasingly want architecture and interior design delivered through a single point of contact. They are therefore looking for an experienced Interior Designer to strengthen this growing area of the practice.
The Role
- Develop interior design schemes for high-end residential projects
- Work closely with the architectural team to create cohesive architecture and interiors
- Develop concepts, finishes, materials and furniture selections
- Produce presentations and design information
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and contractors
- Manage interior design packages through different project stages
- Contribute to the development and growth of the interiors offering
- Work collaboratively with the existing Interior Designer
About You
- Around 5–10 years’ experience in high-end residential interior design, ideally within the UK
- Strong design ability and a good understanding of luxury residential interiors
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture and suppliers
- Established UK supplier and industry contacts would be advantageous
- Confident working collaboratively with architects, clients and contractors
- Able to manage your own work while contributing to a small team
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills
Candidates with less experience may also be considered where they can complement the existing Interior Designer and bring strong design ability and enthusiasm.
