9B Careers is recruiting on behalf of a well-established architectural practice located near Ware, Hertfordshire. Our client is a small, friendly studio of around 10 people, delivering thoughtful residential and mixed-use projects. They are seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team.

About the Role

This is a full-time, office-based role (5 days per week) ideal for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant ready to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with senior designers on a variety of projects, helping to develop design concepts, technical design, and delivery documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support design development through all project stages
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings and technical information using AutoCAD
  • Assist with planning and building control submissions
  • Coordinate project information and drawing sets
  • Collaborate with consultants and contribute to design reviews

About You

  • Completed Part 2 Architectural qualification, working toward Part 3
  • Strong experience using AutoCAD (essential)
  • Confident in technical design and detailing
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Based locally or within reasonable commuting distance to Ware, Hertfordshire
  • Enjoys working in a small, close-knit team
