9B is working with a growing design-led architectural practice to appoint a Project Architect or Architectural Technologist to join its London studio.
The practice specialises in the design and delivery of high-end residential projects in London and internationally, including bespoke new-build homes, significant refurbishments, extensions, and multi-unit residential developments.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and expanding studio, offering the chance to work across all RIBA stages and play a key role in delivering beautifully detailed residential projects.
The Role
- Lead the design and delivery of residential projects from concept through to completion
- Manage project programmes, resources, and consultant coordination
- Prepare and submit planning applications
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
- Maintain high standards of design quality and technical delivery throughout projects
About You
- ARB-registered Architect or experienced Architectural Technologist
- Minimum 5 years' UK post-qualification experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across multiple RIBA stages
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working with traditional JCT contracts
- Strong technical and project-running capabilities
- Excellent understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations
- Confident in client-facing and contractor-facing environments
- Previous experience within the prime or high-end residential sector preferred
