9B Careers is proud to be partnering with a leading international design firm based in Shenzhen, China (500 staff), as they establish their first London office — a key step in expanding their influence across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
We are now seeking a Senior Interior Designer (Team Leader) to join this exciting new venture, working directly with the founding leadership to shape the creative and cultural foundations of the London studio.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in building a brand-new design team in London, collaborating with established teams in China on high-profile hotel, residential, and commercial projects.
Your first six months will focus on:
- Building strong connections with the main teams in Shenzhen to understand their workflows and design standards.
- Collaborating with the China-based teams on active international projects.
- Leading and growing the London design team, initially 4 designers with plans to expand to 8–10 as the office scales.

About You
- Proven experience in high-end hospitality, residential, or commercial interiors.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin or Arabic is advantageous.
- Proficiency in leading design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
