9B is working with a leading UK architecture practice to appoint a Technical Architect or Architectural Technologist with strong Revit capability to join their Bristol studio.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of large-scale UK projects, spanning sectors such as commercial, education, healthcare, residential, and justice.
The Role
You will play a key role in the technical design and delivery of major projects, working across RIBA Stages 3–4, with a strong focus on coordination, detailing, and high-quality technical output.
Projects are varied and may include:
- Large-scale commercial office developments (Stage 4 delivery)
- Ministry of Justice refurbishment schemes (lead or support roles)
- High-rise residential (HRB) projects at Stage 3–4
- Major DfE school programmes
- Heritage and museum projects
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical design information using Revit
- Contribute to RIBA Stages 3–4, including detailed design and coordination
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
- Support or lead packages depending on experience level
- Contribute to specification writing (NBS) where required
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations and project standards
About You
- Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist
- 2–20 years’ experience in practice
- Strong, consistent use of Revit (minimum 2 years as primary tool)
- Proven experience working on large-scale UK projects
- Experience in one or more sectors: commercial, education, healthcare, residential, or justice
- Strong technical detailing and coordination skills
- Able to work in the UK without sponsorship
