9B is working with a leading AJ100 architecture and heritage consultancy to appoint an Associate Architect to join their London team.

This is a rare opportunity to work on projects of national significance within the UK’s historic built environment, combining project leadership, team management, and business development within a highly regarded practice.

The Role

  • Lead projects across all RIBA stages, from concept through to delivery
  • Work on high-profile heritage and listed building schemes
  • Manage and mentor project teams
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Contribute to business development, bidding, and work-winning
  • Support studio leadership and strategic growth

About You

  • Qualified Architect with 10+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong background in heritage and conservation projects
  • Experience across all RIBA stages
  • Good understanding of UK planning and building regulations
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Experience in team leadership and project management
  • Commercial awareness and involvement in business development
  • Accreditation (AABC / RIBA CA / SCA) desirable
  • Experience with NEC contracts advantageous
  • Revit/BIM knowledge beneficial
