Recruiter Name Paul Chappell

We're looking for an experienced Revit/BIM Lead for a short-term contract role delivering Stage 4 technical drawings on an NHS remodelling project.

About the project
A significant hospital remodelling scheme involving extensive demolition works. The project is currently at Stage 4, developing technical drawings and models handed over from the pre-construction architect.

The role

  • Take ownership of Revit modelling, drawing production and Level 2 coordination with the wider consultant team
  • Work independently and be fully engaged from the outset — setting up modelling protocols and workflows for the project
  • Coordinate with structural, M&E and other disciplines to resolve clashes and technical issues
  • Support production of a complete, coordinated Stage 4 information pack
  • Some post-design/construction-phase support likely

What we're looking for

  • Strong Revit/BIM experience, ideally with Level 2 BIM coordination on projects of comparable scale/complexity
  • Confidence working autonomously and setting up systems/processes from a standing start
  • Healthcare sector experience (familiarity with HTMs and NHS compliance requirements) is helpful but not essential — compliance support can be provided
  • Available for an immediate start

Working arrangement

  • Contract position (initial), with potential for a permanent role for the right candidate given rising workloads, particularly if locally based
  • Remote working is expected to be acceptable for the majority of the design phase
  • Occasional attendance required — estimated a couple of times per month during design, additional visits may be needed during the construction phase or for urgent meetings
