Who is recruiting in the lead up to the General Election?

Although traditionally practices put recruitment on hold in the lead up to an election, this doesn't tell the whole story. There appears to have been a slight slowdown for more senior strategic positions which I imagine firms are awaiting the outcome of the election before pursuing further. Fora architectural assistants, however, the number of roles has actually increased over the last few months and now represents around 34% of the total advertised positions. This figure not long ago was below 20%.

These roles are still very much in the residential and luxury sectors but education and commercial are improving and currently include:

Experienced Part 2 Assistant or recently qualified Architect : Clerkenwell

Are you a design orientated Part 2 looking to gain your Part 3? : West London

Part 2 Assistant or recently qualified Architect : North London

If you are currently considering a new role do take a look at the 9B site where you will find over 100 roles for practices across the UK and overseas.
